Parking is monitored by Drive Towing. The hours of enforcement are Monday through Sunday, midnight until 7:00 a.m. for the following parking violations:

1. Parking on the property without displaying a valid Chelsea Wood vehicle hangtag (including parking in a handicap space)
2. Parking in a reserved space (A space) with a visitor hangtag

The following parking violations are enforced twenty-four/seven days a week:

1. Parking in handicap spaces without a handicap permit/tag
2. Parking in a fire lane
3. Parking an inoperable vehicle for more than three days

Pest Control

Paramount Pest Control

Pest treatment for roaches, ants, mice, spiders, etc. is performed on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Services (except for treatment of bedbugs and fleas) are at no cost to the residents. To schedule a treatment, you can call the Chelsea Wood office at (301) 552-2222 or via email at chelseawoodcondo@gmail.com.

Trash, Recycling & Bulk Trash

J & S Trash and Refuse provides trash, recycling and bulk trash services for the Chelsea Wood community. Trash is collected five days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday) from the enclosed trash room located in each building.

Bulk trash is collected on Tuesday and Thursday. Collection sites for bulk trash are located throughout the property, designated by a sign identifying it as a bulk trash site. Bulk trash cannot be put out until after six p.m. the night before scheduled collection.

Unacceptable items include large appliances (i.e. refrigerators or stoves) complete rooms of furniture; hazardous materials, and vehicle parts.

Water Savings

The Association has hired Water Savers to help reduce water usages. Water Savers can repair/replace leaking faucets and running toilets. These services are at no cost to the resident. If you are having a problem with leaking faucets or running toilets, you can contact Water Savers directly at (301) 840-0500  to schedule an appointment or contact the Chelsea Wood office.

Meet the Board

The Chelsea Wood Condominium Board of Directors is made up of elected volunteers. The Directors are not allowed to accept any compensation in their performance as Board members. The Board is a governing body that serves on behalf of the Chelsea Wood residents to ensure a better community by making decisions that affect every aspect of community living from lawn maintenance to trash pickup to exterior maintenance and repairs. The Board also establishes the budget and makes capital improvements that preserve the architectural integrity and aesthetics of the property and common elements.

The members of the Board serve for a three-year term. In accordance with the By-Laws, the Board must be comprised of a majority of onsite unit owners. Elections for Board members are held on the second Wednesday in April.

Pay Condo Fees

The Board of Directors has taken measures to make condo assessment payments more convenient for you. Our condo fee assessment is $400 for one bedroom; $489 for one bedroom plus; and $538 for two bedrooms.  Payments are due on the first and must be received by the 15th of every month or there is a $15 penalty for late fees. There are several options available for you to pay your fees:

You can also mail your check payable to Chelsea Wood Condominium Association, with your property address clearly noted on the check to:
