8th Street Plaza
Our community, 8TH STREET PLAZA, consists of 75 condominium homes in Southeast, Washington, DC in the heart of the Congress Heights neighborhood – just next door to the historic Anacostia neighborhood. The community has an easy access to Interstate 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway), Interstate 495 (the Beltway), and the Suitland Parkway. We are also just a 10-minute walk to the Congress Heights Metro Station on the Green Line. This provides for an easy commute to downtown DC, Alexandria, VA and Prince George’s County, MD. Major neighborhood landmarks include Bolling Air Force Base and the St. Elizabeth’s Federal Campus, where the U.S. Coast Guard is headquartered. The National Harbor restaurants, shopping outlets and casino are less than a 10-minute drive on 295 South. The Washington Nationals Baseball Stadium is a 10-minute drive down South Capitol Street.
8th STREET PLAZA’s biggest asset is the people who live here. Our community is made up of hard-working Washingtonians (some born and raised, and some recent transplants), who are attorneys, police officers, DC and Federal Employees and other professionals. We make it a wonderful place to live simply by taking pride in our community. Thanks to a few volunteers who sit on the Board of Directors, all residents can be proud of this beautiful and thriving community.
The Association is governed by a Board of Directors and is managed by Quality 1 Property Management.
